University and real life offer complementary and mostly non-overlapping skills, necessary for a professional career. University is also a financial sink (investment) while real life is a financial source. (But my wife has been my best investment of all.) Yale University School of Forestry & Environmental Studies
New Haven, Connecticut. Masters of Environmental Management. 1997. I combined studies of biodiversity conservation, community development, and environmental education. My masters thesis project was the use of a type of participatory rural appraisal to evaluate the potential of a rural farming community in the highlands of Ecuador for possible ecotourism development. My major advisors were Professor Bill Burch and Steve Kellert. See the classes I took and research papers I wrote. One major research project accomplish is the team report on communication flow problems around West Rock Park in New Haven for Burchs famed ecosystem management class. See his comments on our report.. topHanover, New Hampshire. Bachelors Foxborough, Massachusetts. Diploma. 1988. I graduated 4th of 242. top
