Big Mammals

We ran into a variety of large mammals. Other large animals we did not photograph include llamas, ostriches, and really large shrews.

Bison

We passed a bison farm. They were free-range, reproducing, and running as a herd. We hadn't planned the stop but were grateful for having took a wrong turn and should not have been there.

Elephant

While these may not be Olga and Jorge's first elephants, they certainly are in Wisconsin. Same for the rest of us. During the winter these guys head to Alabama.

Lawn Mower

With some 10,000 muscles in its trunk, this elephant can mow the lawn with impression precision.

Moose Spotting

Though Wisconsin is known for its deer population, we spotted this moose running through the street.		 The Climb Up Kiliminjaro
