Brooklyn Bridge

Over 60 men died of the bends (nitrogen bubble buildup in bloodways when divers do not decompress properly) while building this bridge with two levels and two tracks for the subway.

Times Square

The building from which the New Year's ball falls is completely empty. Its sole purpose in life is to drop the ball. It pays its taxes through billboard revenues. Note that Fernando looks at home.
